I just went through "The Reaper's Cry" carefully, and I am genuinely impressed that you sat down and built this.. Writing a thriller with this kind of dark, atmospheric opening takes real nerve and imagination. The fact that you already have a title.. a clear visual world, a religious through-line, and a named captive on the page is something to be proud of.. a lot of people talk about writing a Script.. you actually did.

The opening image is effective. A Bible open on a nightstand in a Victorian Gothic bedroom while female voices cry out in the background, immediately sets a tone of ritual and dread. That contrast works.. The bathroom sequence is the strongest stretch so far. The careful grooming, the folding of the towel, the rinsing of the bloody razor, and the quiet "it's almost time" all sell a malicious, almost ceremonial killer. The photo on the door and the line "It's an honor to be chosen" give him a clear, twisted logic without over-explaining it. That's smart bringing in Ecclesiastes 4:1-3 while the hostages suffer is a strong choice. It gives the character an internal justification and elevates the material beyond simple gore. Tondra's first appearance is also solid: bloodied, chained,  still fighting, and calling for Lance. We instantly understand her relationship, which is efficient writing.

Scene headings should follow standard style (INT. SERIAL KILLER'S HOUSE --BEDROOM - NIGHT). The current "INT: ROOM/HOUSE OF SERIAL KILLER-NIGHT"

is close but not yet professional. Dialogue character names should be in all caps and centered, and parentheticals kept short. None of these are story problems. They're the kind of surface work that every script goes through once the bones are solid. You're already creating atmosphere, giving the antagonist a philosophy,  and putting a specific victim with a name and a relationship on screen.. in the first few pages.. That's real progress .. keep going. I want see what happens when he leaves the house with the briefcase and I especially want to see who Lance is and how the "Chosen" idea develops. I am proud of you for putting this on the page... It's dark, ambitious, and already has a pulse. Now polish the Craft so the next reader feels the same chill you clearly intended..
